Some exmples of projects are: organizing speakers for health classes, setting up lupus awareness displays or participating as a team in the Lupus Loop. A plan can be developed to meet anyone's schedule or location. In addition to helping those with lupus, students may gain skills and meet individuals that can influence their futures. If you are 16 or over and have Lupus, you may qualify to participate in this research study to evaluate the safety, effectiveness and tolerability of an investigational medication. Eligible patients will receive the following at not cost: Study related medical care Study related lab work Study related medication or placebo Qualified participants will be compensated $62 per visit.
